Obituary Washington- Carol A. Nunnery, 69, of Washington passed away at 5:56 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. Carol was born on February 6, 1943 in Detroit, MI to the late Edward and Florence Dixon Hodgkins. Surviving are four daughters and one son, Kim (Darren) Wennmacher of Mt. Clemens, MI; Kelly Hough of Ninety Six, SC; Kevin Nunnery of Boca Raton, FL; Michele (Tim) Swearingen of East Peoria; Nicole Nunnery of East Peoria, 8 grandchildren, Krista, Jami, Jessica, Kevin, Austin, Joshua, Dakota and Emma; 3 great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Bryan and Chloe; a brother, Edward Hodgkins of Arizona. Carol was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Terry Hough and a sister, Jade Craig. Carol was a former Assembler at WICC. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a long faithful member of the East Peoria Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Honoring Carol's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2012 at the East Peoria Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory of East Peoria.
