Obituary WASHINGTON- Carol Jean Krulac, 69 of Washington passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 5:45A.M. at UnityPoint Health- Proctor in Peoria. Carol was born on December 11, 1945 in Bloomington to Herbert and Mabel Aileen Stine Beeler. She married James Krulac on June 10, 1962 in East Peoria. He survives. Together, they shared 53 blessed years. She is also survived by her daughters, Kim (Stan) Kaniecki of Mt. Prospect, Jeanne (Todd) Castor of Washington, and Jamie (James) Stasiak of Ft. Knox, KY; eight grandchildren, Marie and Carrie Kaniecki, Jacob and Jeremy Castor, Olivia (Shen) Ni, Caty, Nick, and Jason Stasiak; two brothers and two sisters. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister. Carol worked as a homemaker, devoted to caring and raising her family. She was also Brownie and Girl Scout troop leader in the Washington area. She later worked for several years at American Family Insurance in Peoria Heights as the office manager. She spent much of her time crocheting, sewing, and reading. Carol was a faithful Christian throughout her life. Above all else, her best times were spent with her family and grandchildren, whom she adored. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Midwest Affiliate. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00A.M. at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Pastor John Bates will officiate. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
