Carol F. Hutton, 85, of East Peoria, passed away at 5:00pm Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Health Care in East Peoria. Carol was born December 23, 1935 in Peoria to the late D. Rudloph and Dorothy Schierholtz Harting. She married Elmer G. Hutton on February 6, 1954 at St. Bernard's Church in Peoria; he preceded her in death on November 19, 2002. Surviving are three sons, Bradley (Sue) Hutton of East Peoria, Gregory Hutton (Hazel Maddox) of Creve Coeur, and Craig (Becky) Hutton of Goodfield; one daughter, Susan (Bryan) Emmons of Manito; many grandchildren; one brother, David (KAthy) Harting of Sarasota, FL; one sister, Lorraine King of Eureka; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was our dear and charming "Diamond in the Rough" and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, each in their own way.
