Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Carl A. Underhill, 67, of East Peoria died at 8:52 AM on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Greater Peoria Specialty Hospital. Born on January 27, 1944 in Peoria, IL to Carl and Ann Lancaster Underhill, he married Jacquelina Rae Davis on February 6, 1966 in Pontiac, IL; she preceded him in death on June 5, 2008 in Peoria. Surviving are his son Keil Underhill of East Peoria; stepson Howard (Karen) McClasky of East Peoria and stepdaughter, Cindy (Delbert) Ward of Rushville, IL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 brothers, David (Shari) Lancaster of TN, and Robert Lancaster of Pekin; and his sister, Katherine Davis of Morton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Paul and his brother, Jack. He was a US Navy veteran. Carl was a supervisor in the Melting Department at Caterpillar, Inc., where he retired on Nov 1, 2001 after nearly 37 years of service. Carl was an avid outdoorsman, deer hunter, fisherman and Cubs fan. He especially enjoyed family life. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Pastor Mark Westman will officiate.
