Obituary Carl E. Schaefer, 56, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:35pm Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1960, to the late Paul L. and Therese Stawick Schaefer in Blue Island, Illinois. He is survived by his siblings, Ken (Nita)Schaefer, Rock Falls, Gregory (Linda) Schaefer, Murphysbororo, Michele King, Bloomington, and Gordon (Garnetta) Schaefer, Gridley. A memorial Mass for Carl will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, Bloomington. Fr. Joseph Baker will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
