Carey Ann Marsh, 51, of Washington, passed away at 7:30 am Sunday, December 10, 2023 at her home.

Carey was born May 24, 1972 in Peoria to the late Charlene (Moore) and George Carpentier. She married Jarrod P. Marsh on May 20, 1995 in Washington. He survives.

Also surviving are her two children, Karlene and Jacob; her granddaughter, Emma; her siblings, Tracy (Ron Fullenwider) Bourassa, Teri (Tim) Dusch, Eddie Carpentier, Andy Carpentier, and Kathy (Ryan Kimler) Carpentier; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Carey was a former youth leader at Highview Road Church of God. In her spare time she would often be found knitting or reading. She was also an avid television enthusiast. Carey was the person to go to if you needed to know what channel a show was on. In the summers she would go hiking with her family and explore new trails. Carey was a wonderful presence and will be dearly missed.

Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation has been accorded.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to TAPS Animal Shelter in Pekin.
