Obituary Buelah Harnung, 98, of Washington, IL, died at 7:35 am Friday, March 19, 2010 at Eureka Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka. Born on June 24, 1911 in Trempealeau, WI to John Adam and Margaret Susan Shanabrook Herman, she married John M. Harnung on June 20, 1936 in Chicago. He died on August 23, 1991. Surviving are 1 daughter, Claudia (Robert) Irvin of Washington; 1 son, John (Susan) Harnung of Bettendorf, IA; 5 grandchildren, Karin (Joe) Orwig of Toulon, IL, Kelly (Brandon) Robinson of Grayson, GA, Helen (Dan) Holmes and Michael (fianc, Tracy Gray) Harnung both of Bettendorf, IA, Paul (Leticia) Harnung of Shakope MN; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 4 sisters. Beulah was a homemaker. She was a member of Sunnyland Christian Church and UCC of E Auxillary. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday, March 22, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Evan Williams will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-5 pm Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
