Brenda L. Hartman, 67, of Metamora, passed away at 12:53 pm Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.

She was born March 10, 1955 in Mount Clemens, MI to the late John Wettstein.  She married Robert "Bob" Hartman in Peoria on September 14, 1977.  He survives.

Also surviving are three children, Angie Brekke of Morton, Karen LaHood of Metamora, Brandon (Kristen) Hartman of Dunlap; six grandchildren, Austin (Sabrina) LaHood, Bryce Brekke, Brianna (Dakota) Conway, Brayden Brekke, Dalton Logan, Breeley Brekke; one great-granddaughter, Blair LaHood; and one brother, Kevin Shonk of CA.

Brenda worked as a secretary at C.H. Robinson in Peoria.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Cremation has been accorded.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
