Brad Ogborn, 66, of Washington, passed away at 2:09pm Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his home.

He was born October 26, 1956 in Peoria to the late Melvin L. and Shirley R. Kelso Ogborn. He married Denise E. Gallagher on February 4, 1978 in Peoria; she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Shawn Ogborn and Lakyn Ogborn; his grandchildren, Brady, Madi, Remi, Eli, Chloe, and Lexi; his daughter-in-law, Elly Ogborn; and his siblings, Gary Ogborn, Theresa Garlotte, Mike Ogborn, and Brian Ogborn; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Bradley; and his brothers, Jerry and Steve Ogborn.

Brad was a plumber since 1976, founding the family business with Denise on April 5, 1988. He was a people person and enjoyed talking with new people and serving them though his work. Over the years, he volunteered for NTRA and enjoyed playing golf and pool. Brad loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and traveling with his wife. One of his favorite things was taking the kids and grandkids out  on the golf cart, going up to Casey's, the park, or to visit friends in the neighborhood.

His family would like to thank all their amazing caregivers, including Debbie and Bird In The Hand, Visiting Angels, and Transitions Hospice.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-5:00pm Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Countryside Banquet Facility tent.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CJD Foundation.
