Obituary Bonnie Rae Lang, 79, of Washington, IL, died at 5:10 pm on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, IL. She was born on February 2, 1933, in Wausau, WI, to her parents Adolph and Emma Sommerfelt Gering, she married Reuben Lang on October 1, 1955 in Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1984. Surviving are four children; Kevin (Rebecca) Lang of Creve Coeur, IL, Jamie Lang of North Pekin, IL, Brian (Jeanne) Lang of Pekin, IL, and Scott (Lynn) Lang of Washington, IL. Bonnie is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister. Bonnie enjoyed being a home interior displayer. She was a member at St. Monica Church in East Peoria, IL. She also was an active volunteer at Illinois Cancer Care since 2002. Local visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, IL, where a service will follow at 7 pm. Deacon Stephen Racki will officiate. Additional visitation will begin at 10 am Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home in Marathon, WI. A graveside service will begin at noon on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Marathon, WI.
