Bonnie Sue French, 91, of Washington, passed away at 6:11 pm Monday, February 28, 2022 at her home.

She was born July 29, 1930 in Ina, IL to Charlie and Nellie McCoy Webb.  She married Bert French Jr. on November 26, 1948 in Henderson County, KY.  He preceded her in death on November 6, 2019.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Eva; and brother, Charles.

Surviving are three sons, C. Michael (Mary Ellen Shea), Ricky (Shawna), and Mark; three grandchildren, Shane (Jana), Clint (Jennifer), and Angela; eight great-grandchildren, Gabrielle (Joshua) Hack, Brooke and Wyatt Simpson, Austin, Rylie, Cleopatra and Willow French, Ember Dixon; one great-great-grandson, Jack Hack; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was an animal lover.  She enjoyed playing the piano, latch hook, cross stitch, cooking, and spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 10am to Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
