Obituary Bobette Greeley Bell, 69, of Washington, IL died on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in Washington, due to injuries from a car accident. She was born on August 1, 1942 in Peoria, IL to Jack and Bobby Greeley Furst. Surviving are 3 children; Scott Bell and Brian Bell, both of Washington, IL, and Danette (Robert) Hadfield of Lowpoint, IL, 2 grandchildren, Madelynn and Logan Hadfield, and 1 sister, Jeanie Johansen of Columbus, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Jackie Lapan. Bobette taught kindergarten and third grade from 1970-2003 at the Deer Creek-Mackinaw School District. She was an active member of New Life Christian Church in Morton, IL. In Bobette's words, "I will be where I've truly looked forward to being, I'll certainly be happier than I've ever been on this earth, and I'll want you to be happy for me! My main last wish is that you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior - so that we can be together again someday. I love you and God bless you!" A memorial service will be at 7 pm Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at New Life Christian Church, 401 W. Edgewood Ct. Morton, IL, 61550. Pastor Bob See will officiate. Memorial visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday at the church. Cremation Rites will be accorded. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
