Bob Thrush, 87, of Washington, passed away at 12:55am Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Accolade Healthcare in East Peoria.

Bob was born June 22, 1935 in Raritan to the late Lester Dale and Norma Jean SeamanThrush. He married Sharron Gallahue in June 1956, and they enjoyed nearly 67 years together.

Surviving is his wife, Sharron; their sons, Randy, Rick, and Rodney (Mashell); grandchildren, Chris, Sonia, Lance, Phillip, and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Makayla, and Gavin; and his sister, Phyllis Davis.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Thrush.

Bob was a Union Operation Engineer for over 65 years, retiring in 2000 from Local 649. He was a music lover, even drumming with bands in his younger days. He loved dancing with his wife, camping, and watching the Bears play. He was a provider and leader for his family whose presence will be missed.

Private burial in the family plot will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
