Obituary East Peoria- Billie Louise Schoedel, 83, of East Peoria passed away at 4:15 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2012 at Morton Terrace. Billie was born on May 28, 1929 in East Peoria, IL to the late William and Thelma Wilson Marsh. She married William E. Schoedel on December 3, 1950 in East Peoria. He survives her. Also surviving are four sons, Alvin (Vicki) Schoedel of East Peoria, Thomas (Debby) Schoedel of East Peoria, Robert (Margie) Schoedel of Littleton, CO and John (Sheryl) Schoedel of Crown Point, IN; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Marsh; a sister, Donna Moore. Billie was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Cullen. Billie was proud to be a homemaker raising her four boys. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where she was able to share her gift of hospitality. Funeral Service will take place at 10 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in East Peoria. Pastor Kurt Mews will officiate with interment to follow in Fondulac Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria on Tuesday from 5-7 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of service.
