Obituary WASHINGTON-Beverly J. "Bev" Fager, 73, of Washington, IL, died at 2:59 am Thursday, August 12, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center emergency room in Peoria. Born on June 03, 1937 in Ava, IL to William L. and Eula D. Qualls Bastien, she married William Harlen Fager on July 23, 1954 in Murphysboro, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Barbara (Kenny) Childers and Kristal Fager both of Washington, IL; 2 sons, Daryl (Debbie) Fager of East Peoria,IL, Dave (Laura) Fager of Washington, IL; 5 brothers, Bob Bastien of AR, Gilbert (Linda) Bastien of Murphysboro, IL, Mike (Donna) Bastien of Carterville,IL, Don (Becky) Bastien of Colt, AR, Terry (Angie) Bastien of Marion, AR; 5 sisters, Sharon (Gerald) Hartline of Murphysboro,IL, Marilyn Ridings of Marion,IL, Carolyn (Cecil) Clover of Vergennes,IL, Sandy (Fred) Stroud of Carterville,IL, Delores (Jack) Perkins of Marion, IL; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Donna and Debra. Bev worked as a cashier at Thompson Food Basket in Washington for many years. She dedicated her life to her family and loved to share the beauty of her gardening, especially her iris's and lilies. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday, August 16, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Rev. Jack Melton will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-5 pm Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
