Obituary PEORIA-Beulah W. Landis, 86, of Peoria, IL, died at 8:40 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Morton Terrace Care Center in Morton, IL. Born on August 30, 1924 in Logan, WV to Thomas Wells and Goldie Caldwell, she married Eugene Landis in 1949. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2008. Also preceding her in death was 1 son, Harry Eugene Landis. Beulah relocated to Illinois in 2008 and was cared for by her daughter, Alma Landis of Mossville, IL and her granddaughter, Gayle Giusti of Bloomington, IL. Also surviving are Kimberly Broyles and 2 grandsons, Michael and Christopher Broyles, all of North Port, FL; granddaughter, Cheryl Alford of Tucson, AZ and 3 great-grandchildren, John and Amber Giusti, and Kyle Broyles. Beulah worked at General Motors in Dayton, OH for over 30 years before retiring to Florida. Entombment will be made with Eugene at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery in Punta Gorda, FL. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
