Obituary PEORIAa"Betty L. Linck, 86, of Peoria died at 7:30 AM on Monday, Dec 27, 2010 at Sharon Elms Health Care Center. Born on October 28, 1924 in Marion, IL to Robert and Marie Brann Burgess, she married James Hudson Linck on Nov 19, 1944 in Carterville, IL. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2010 in Peoria. Surviving is her daughter, Janis (Dennis) Meixsell of Peoria; 2 grandchildren, Lindsay Meixsell of Nashville, TN and Logan Meixsell of Peoria; and 1 sister, Jo Hunter of Florida. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, June and Rose. Betty worked at Caterpillar, Inc. in the art department and later as a receptionist before retiring after 30 years of service. She had attended Springfield Road Baptist Church in East Peoria. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, Jan 3, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. The Rev. Jim West will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Sunday, Jan 2 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
