Obituary Betty J. Davis, 85, of Washington, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born July 6, 1930 to Charles and Helen (Waters) Cooley in Perry, IL. She married Vernon L. Davis on September 16, 1949 in Pittsfield, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Vicki (Reace) Cooper of Peoria, Candy (Kim) Orton of Washington; 1 son, Mike Davis of East Peoria; 4 granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Jo Baughman of Pittsfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Junior. Betty was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Her memorial service will be at 1:30 pm Friday, January 8, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, with Rev. Joey Watt officiating.
