Betty "Dale" Dale, 89, of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Dale was born on January 20, 1935 to Robert Franklin and Margaret (Umphryes) Dale in Rushville, IL. She married James Cagle on September 23, 1995 in Hennepin, IL. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Mark, Dena, and Renda; her stepchildren, Sandy and Duane; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers, Bobby and Jerry.

Dale enjoyed interior design of homes in her spare time. She was also known to have a great memory. Although she had many grandchildren and great grandchildren, she remembered each and every one of their names and birthdays. Dale was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Cremation rites will be accorded.
