Obituary BRIMFIELD- Betty M. (Ballard) Caho, 93, of Brimfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:55 P.M. at her residence. Betty was born on September 6, 1922 in East Peoria to William H. and Lillian M. Lichtenberg Foster. She married Donald Ballard in 1946; he preceded her in death in 1967. She later married Calvin "Ray" Caho on March 14, 1975 in Peoria; he preceded her in death on September 8, 2015. Surviving are her children, Frank (Lynne) Ballard of Washington and Connie (Dan) Richardson of Brimfield; six stepchildren, including Darrell (Verna) Caho of East Peoria; nine grandchildren, Ben (Michelle) Ballard, Ryan (Sarah) Ballard, Matt (Nova) Ballard, Jay Ballard, Donna (Shawn) Taylor, Rhonda Eldridge, Rocky Eldridge, Jesse (Kara) Eldridge, and Sonny Eldridge; 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings Paul Foster of East Peoria, Robert (Liz) Foster of Green Valley, Dolly (Hiram) Davis of Morton; sister-in-law, Mary Price of Missouri and brother-in-law, Steve Stege of Bartonville. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings George Price, Donnie Price, Eva Stege, Marty Patton and Marie Foster. Betty worked at numerous jobs throughout her life, including Gemco in Peoria, Quality Metals in Peoria, OSF St Francis Medical Center as a young girl, and Union Church of Brimfield during her retirement. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Church of Brimfield, where Betty was a longtime and devoted member. Betty held her faith in the Lord, her devotion to her children (including her 'adopted' son Pastor Steve), grandchildren and great-grandchildren as the most important things in her life. She lived every day with the christian values that she cherished. There will be a funeral service for Betty on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Reverend Stephen Barch will officiate. There will be a visitation an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria. Cemetery Details Springdale Cemetery 3014 N.
