Obituary Bernice L. Camp, 81, of Peoria Heights, passed away at 6:14 pm Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her daughter's home in Benson. She was born January 28, 1936 in Quitman, AR to James E. and Irma E. Turner Tilley. She married Marion E. Camp on June 21, 1954 in Morrilton, AR. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, and one brother. Surviving are two sons, Bernard E. Camp and Terry E. (Gretchen) Camp; one daughter, Cynthia D. (Cameron) Staples; 11 grandchildren, Joseph, David, Tricia, Michael (with whom she made her home), Erin, Brandon, Kimberly, Brekk, Bradley, Claire, and Donnie; along with several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Bernice worked for many years as a waitress for Clark's Caf, and many years babysitting numerous children all of whom she considered family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family would like to send a special thank you to UnityPoint Hospice, especially to her nurse, Peg for all of their loving care and support. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington with her funeral service to follow at 6 pm.
