Obituary Bernard L. Ingle, 88, of Washington, passed away at 3 pm Friday, July 15, 2016 at Riverview ManorCare in East Peoria. He was born Aug. 6, 1927 in Washington to John Edward and Nettie Moss Ingle. He married Ruby Jane McDowell on June 14, 1964 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on Aug. 9, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Wilma, Iris and Ruth. Surviving are his son, Ralph Stewart Alameda of St. Peters, MO; grandson, Alex (Annie) Alameda of Chesterfield, MO; granddaughter, Andrea Alameda of St. Charles, MO; 2 great-granddaughters, Addisun and Ashlyn Alameda; 2 sisters, Fern Renfro of St. Augustine, FL, Phyllis Cassidy of Dayton, OH and several nieces and nephews. Bernard is a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked at Cilco retiring after 35 years of service. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed his cb radio and spending winters in Texas. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate. Bernard's funeral service will be at 1 pm Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be one hour before services, from 12 to 1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
