Obituary Barbara Ann Sebesta, 66, of Peoria, IL and formerly of Washington, IL, died at 6:52 pm Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Peoria, IL. Born on January 9, 1947 in Mitchell, SD to Harold and Phyllis Kenton Hubert, she married Bruce W. Sebesta on August 16, 1962 in Mitchell, SD. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2004. Surviving are 3 children, Brenda (Jerry ) Eckstein of Washington, IL, Bob W. Sebesta of Mapleton, IL, and Bridget M. Sebesta of Washington, IL, 1 brother, Harold Hubert Jr. of Rockford, IL, her stepfather, A.F. Smith of Mitchell, SD, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Christie Sebesta. Barbara worked at Puppy Love as a groomer in Peoria for several years. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, enjoyed volunteering with Girl Scouts, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also attended Bay View Baptist Church in Washington. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation rites will be accorded.
