Obituary EAST PEORIA-Barbara "Jeannie" Lambert, 79, of East Peoria, IL died at 1:45 pm on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at her residence. Born on April 3, 1932 in Delavan Township, IL to Onis and Goldie Irene Beadles Mitchell, she married Gene Lambert on October 11, 1951 in Osceola, AR. She is survived by her husband; 2 sons, John G (Susan) Lambert of Holly, MI and Jeff (Sophia) Lambert of Dunnellon, FL; 2 sisters, Thelma (Walter) Crawford of Minier, IL and Judy (Darrell) Seest of Monticello, IL; 3 grandchildren, Amy, Greg, and Wolfgang and 2 great-grandchildren, Sophia and Robbie. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Ruth. Jeannie was a homemaker and loved listening to old time country music. She was a member of Christ Bible Church in Creve Coeur, IL. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Rev. Tom Pisano will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan.
