Obituary Barbara May Aeschleman Blain, 79, of Eureka, IL, died at 5:40 am Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, IL. Born on May 31, 1935 in Roanoke, IL to Robert and Viola Schumburg Aeschleman, she married James Blain on June 3, 1956. He preceded her in death. Surviving are 1 son, Donald E. Blain of El Paso, IL, 2 grandchildren, Dustin and Chelsey Blain and 1 great-grandson, Jacob James Blain. She is also survived by several siblings; James (Sarah) Aeschleman of Eureka, IL, Donna (Ron) Kenagy of South Carolina, and Sharon (James) Siverly, Betty (John) Osborn, and Kathy (Roy) Phegley, all of Washington, IL. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Myron and Wayne Aeschleman and 1 sister, Judy Butler. Barb worked as a waitress and at the Ben Franklin Store in Eureka for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Secor, IL. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites will be accorded.
