Ashley Nicole Frisby, 34, of Morton, formerly of East Peoria, passed away at Friday, August 7, 2026 at her home.

Ashley was born April 21, 1992 in Peoria to Andrea (Adams) Frisby and David Frisby, Jr, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her mom, Andrea (JR) Hanks of Metamora; her sister, Amanda (Cameron) Bridges; her step-sister, Emersyn Hanks; her nieces, Adalynn and Olivia; her grandparents, David and Jackie Adams and Linda (Kirk) Boyd; and her aunt, Stacey Adams.

Ashley was an area nurse since 2015, graduating from St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing and East Peoria High School. Apart from being a nurse, Ashley's favorite jobs were being an aunt and a dog mom; she loved to spend time with her nieces and her huskies, Stella and Stevie, though she truly loved any and all animals. Ashley had a cozy, free spirit, who enjoyed spending time with those she cared about. She could often be found watching any of her favorite movies, like Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown, snuggled in her favorite sweatshirt with snacks on hand.

A visitation will held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 5-7:00pm at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Please come dressed in something comfortable or something that makes you feel your best.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions will be given to a college fund established for her nieces (checks payable to Amanda Bridges FBO Ashley Frisby).
