WASHINGTON Ardis Mae Reavley, 94, of Washington, IL died at 2:44 pm Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Unity Point Proctor in Peoria, IL. Born on November 6, 1924 in East Peoria, IL to Ray Allen and Jessie Mae Hill Sharp, she married Donald R. Reavley on August 18, 1946 in East Peoria. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1992 in East Peoria, IL. Surviving are 3 sons, Ronald Reavley and Jeffrey Reavley, both of Washington, IL, Richard Reavley of South Pekin, IL, 3 daughters, Kristine Murray of Peoria, IL, Karen Gordon of Washington, IL, and Lisa (Kevin) Beadle of Morton, IL, 2 sisters, Myrna (LeRoy) McAvoy and Gail (Mel) Morger, both of East Peoria, IL, and 1 sister-in-law, Neva Sharp of East Peoria, IL, 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson. Ardis was a member of First United Methodist Church in East Peoria and also the Bell System Pioneers group. Services will be at 12 noon on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Mary Arnold will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10 am Monday until the time of service on Monday. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to the Northern Tazewell Rescue Squad or to her church.
