Annie Morrow Wade, 87, of Washington, passed away at 9am Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Reflections Memory Care in Washington.
She was born May 16, 1934 in Pine Top, TN to Clay and Lida Arnold Lambert. She married Millard Wade on February 25, 1950 in MS. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Richard; and two sons, Landon Wray Wade, and Lance Gray Wade.
Surviving are five children, Candy Kay (Todd) Glore, Oveta Faye Wade, Kevin Clay (Debra) Wade, Keith Jay (Debbie) Wade, Robin Trey (Amy) Wade; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Leo Lambert, and Frankie (Marylynn) Lambert.
Annie worked as the salad lady at Palanza's in Sunnyland for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling with Millard, her dogs, and was considered the neighborhood mom. She will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Her funeral service will be at 10am Monday, August 16th at the funeral home. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
