Obituary WASHINGTON - Anna Mae Stewart, 82, of Washington, died at 4:10 pm Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Born on February 17, 1925 in Coles Co, IL, to Robert M. and Clara Rodgers Ratts, she married Robert M. Stewart on July 3, 1948 in Charleston, IL. He died on July 19, 2006 in Washington, IL. Surviving are 2 sons, Kelly D. (Randi) Stewart and Kevin D. (Cheryl) Stewart both of Washington, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. She worked at Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston, IL, and later was the Assistant Administrator of Washington Christian Village for many years. She attended Sunnyland Christian Church and Grace Bible Church, both in Washington. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and mothering of her two boys, including fishing trips to Wisconsin. Services will be at 11 am Friday, February 23, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to Grace Bible Church or Washington Christian Village.
