Obituary WASHINGTONa"Anna Marie Daniel, 86, of Washington formerly of Bernard and Davenport, IA, died at 6 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at her residence. Born May 30, 1924 in Macedonia, IA to Charles and Alma Williams Achenbaugh, she married Edgar Daniel on Oct 23, 1941 in Biloxi, MS. He preceded her in death on Mar 28, 1987 in Bernard, IA. Surviving are 4 children, Paul (Judy) Daniel of Rockaway Beach, MO, Dewey Daniel of Maquoketa, IA, Gayle Cirillo of Washington and Esther Daniel of Davenport, IA; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer Prescott, Tracy Gonzales, David Daniel, Bobby Daniel, Michael Cirillo, Michel Hohenbery, Brandon Reed, and Angela Reed; 12 great grandchildren; 1 brother, James Achenbaugh of Peck, KS; and 4 sisters, Virginia (Lynn) Nicoski of Mission, KS, Irene Ulmer of Woodbind, IA, Ivadelle Shook of Red Oak, IA, and JoAnne Petersen of Dalhart, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lorraine, brother Paul, son-in-law Cliff Cirillo and daughter-in-law, Helen Daniel. Anna worked for Per Mar Market Research as a supervisor in Davenport, IA. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, Mar 21, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Inurnment of cremated remains will be held at a later date.
