Andrew "Andy" D. Roe, 65, of Washington, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

He was born June 14, 1958 in Peoria, IL to William Lee and Sandra Ann (Newell) Roe.  He married Amanda Ellen Harper in Peoria on September 4, 1987.  She survives.

Also surviving are two children, Jared (Kelley) Stein-Roe, Ashley (Bryson) Roe; six grandchildren, Gavin, Andrew, Genevieve, Madison, Dade, Dominic; twelve siblings, Frankie (Randy) DeWeese, Dennis (Janice) Roe, Maya (Tom) Mullins, Jacquie (Fred) Corkron, Sandy (Tom) Heath, Matthew Roe, Pete (Theresa) Roe, Mary (Mike) Mason, Margaret Grant, Michael (Amy) Roe, Sara (Demir) Henderson, Carrie (Kimani) Fitzgerald; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill; and sister, LeAnn Terrell.

Andy worked at Illinois Central College in East Peoria from 1993-2015, retiring after 22 ½ years of service.  He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. Andy loved spending time with his family. He loved American muscle cars, taking his grandchildren fishing, and spending all of his free time with his one and only - Ellen.

Cremation has been accorded.  A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Sunday, February 11th at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home from 11am to 1pm.  Inurnment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
