Andy R. O'Brien, 59, of Peoria, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria.

He was born May 15, 1966 in Peoria to Roger and Treva (Lowry) O'Brien.  They survive.

Also surviving are two sons, Bradaigh O'Brien, Caleb O'Brien; five siblings, Angela McConnell, Teresa (David) Brown, Patrick (Magda) O'Brien, Natalie (Ernie) Navarro, Matthew O'Brien; and several nieces and nephews.

Andy worked at G&D Transportation for 18 years up until his passing.  He loved his boys, his cats, and spending time with his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed.

Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded.  There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to donor's choice.
