Obituary
WASHINGTON-Amy Elizabeth Hardin, 24, of Washington, IL died at 2:52 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2014, due to injuries from a car accident in Washington.
She was born on March 16, 1990, in Decatur, IL, daughter of Pastor M. Steve and Debra St. John Hardin of Washington; they survive.
Also surviving are her brother, Christopher Hardin of Chillicothe, IL and aunts and uncles, Denise (Fred) Moreland of Union, MO, Neda Hardin of St. Louis, MO, Jim (Diane) Hardin of Odessa, FL and Lisa (Maria) Hardin of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Amy graduated from Washington Community High School in 2008. She attended Illinois Central College and then completed her degree at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis in 2012. Amy worked at Lincoln School in Morton, IL as a Paraprofessional and also worked in childcare at Five Points Washington. She was a member of Ro-Land Manor Baptist Church in Sunnyland.
There will be a funeral service at 11 AM Friday, October 31, 2014, at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Pastor Joe Gardner will officiate. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be 11 AM Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, MO.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Children's Home & Family Services in Carmi, IL, or to Ro-Land Manor Baptist Church.
