Amy Lu Bowers Dill, 46, of Bartow, FL, formerly of Wyckoff, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at her mother's home in Washington, IL.

Amy was born September 6, 1977 in Virginia Beach, VA to Michael J. and Kathy L. Hutsebaut Bowers. Her father preceded her in death in 2020.

Surviving are her children, Alissa and Brady; her mother, Kathy Bowers; and her sister, Julie (Greg) Tilson; many nieces,nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amy was a graduate of Eastern Christian High School in North Haledon, NJ, where she was a standout soccer player. She received many county and state level recognitions during her years playing for the Eagles. Amy went on to become a devoted mom, caring for her two children who were her world. Following a cancer diagnosis, Amy remained hopeful and even began studying with the intention of working in cancer research one day. Her strength, love and wit will be deeply missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded and she will be laid to rest with her father. Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Go Fund Me established for Alissa and Brady.
