Obituary
Alice May Mossholder, 59, of Peoria, passed away at 7:09pm Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Alice was born May 11, 1956 in Peoria to Frank Clymer, Jr. and Dorothy Phillips Clymer. She married Willliam S. Mossholder on September 26, 1992 in Peoria.
Surviving is her husband, Bill; mother, Dorothy Phillips of Peoria; siblings, Douglas Clymer of Freeport and Juanita Powers of Washington; nephews, Brad and Brian Powers; great-nieces and nephews, Jack, Hope, and Owen; and her cat, Smokee.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother in law, Ben Powers.
Alice graduated from Washington Community High School in 1974 and attended ICC. She worked for JC Penney and Illinois Bell Telephone, and was currently working at AT&T. She attended Northwoods Community Church. Alice loved her husband, family, and friends, who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be from 5-8:00pm Monday, September 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. Pastor Cal Rychener will officiate.
