Obituary WASHINGTON - Alexander Edward Montgomery, 30, of 1027 Greenbriar Lane, Washington, died at 8:55 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on May 31, 1976 in Peoria, IL to Donnie L. and Jean R. Mickens Montgomery. Surviving are his parents of Washington, 2 brothers, Donnie Montgomery of East Peoria, and Brad Montgomery of Washington, his paternal grandmother, Mauvaline Montgomery of Washington, 1 niece, Kelsey Montgomery and 1 nephew, Brandon Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and his maternal grandparents. Alex was a graduate of Schramm Educational Center in Pekin. He then worked at Schramm as a Volunteer/Assistant Job Coach. He enjoyed attending school camps. He also participated in Special Olympics, receiving awards for the baseball throw and the Frisbee throw. He enjoyed watching movies, going to parks, attending parties, and spending time with his family. Services will be at 11 am Monday, January 15, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Pastor David Garner will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
