Alberta "Bert" Rogers, 87, of Washington, passed away at 4:13pm Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the Morton Apostolic Christian Home.

She was born September 26, 1935 in Bakersfield, CA to the late Albert and Geneva Prewett Nord.  She married Paul Harris, he preceded her in death.  She later married Hugh S. Rogers on May 8, 1971.  He preceded her in death on December 6, 2013.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Rea in June of 2014; and step-father, Harley Clark.

Surviving are her son, Jerry (Cindy) Harris; daughter, Judy Folmar; son-in-law, Dave Rea; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Bert formerly worked as a floral designer at the Washington Green House and Becks Florist before retiring.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting, gardening and baking.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be at 1pm Monday, July 10, 2023 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.  Visitation will be one hour before the service from Noon to 1pm Monday at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
