Obituary Albert F. "Bud" Watters, 65, of Washington, passed away at 9 pm Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home. He was born April 20, 1952 in Peoria to Alonzo and Lillian Lauch Watters. He married Carol Oller in Bloomington on April 27, 1973. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Angie (Corey) Witt of Washington, Holly (Kraig) Hofstatter of Low Point; two grandchildren, Taylor and Trent Hofstatter; and three sisters, Jeanne (Dave) Owen of Metamora, Carol (Bill) Pisel of Peoria and Peggy Ewing of Peoria Heights. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Cantwell; and one nephew, Greg Irwin. Bud worked for over 40 years as a meat cutter at Kroger, retiring March 31, 2017. He was of Christian Faith and attended Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington. He enjoyed his grandchildren and spending time with family. He loved fishing and gardening. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Washington Fire and Rescue Dept. or St. Jude. A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington with Rev. Bob DeBolt officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home with additional visitation Wednesday from 10 to 11 am prior to the service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
