Obituary WASHINGTONa"Albert L. Hulett, 80, of Washington died at 9:25 AM on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in East Peoria. Born March 29, 1931 in LaHarpe, IL to Vern Lee and Ruth Ann Peters Hulett, he married Bonna Jean Stevens on October 18, 1952 in Bloomington, IL. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2005. Surviving are his daughter, Linda Hulett of Peoria; 2 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Judy Whitaker of Washington, Mary Jane Hale of Peoria, IL, and Dora Ruth Peto of Quincy, IL; and 4 brothers, Jim Hulett of Tremont, Chester Hulett of Bartonville, Joel (Lottie) Hulett and Andrew (Mary) Hulett, both of Quincy. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Gloria Ann Hulett and Pam Swanson. Albert was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Albert worked most recently with Federal Warehouse, where he worked as a truck driver for 15 years. He had also worked for Pillsbury and for Motors Metal Co. in Detroit, MI for 5 years. He was a member of Roland Manor Baptist Church in Sunnyland. There will be a graveside service at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Glendale Memory Gardens in Pekin. Pastor Steve Hardin will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday, May 23 from 5-7 PM at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation. Military rites will be accorded by the US Air Force and Tazewell Military Rites Team.
