Obituary Alan R. Lagron, 51 of Bellemont, AZ, formerly of Metamora, died at 8:19 PM on Tuesday March 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born August 10, 1960 in Peoria, IL to Ron and Pat Overturf Lagron. He married Joan Vari on March 23, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives. He is also survived by his parents Ron Lagron of Farmington and Pat Lagron of Metamora, one son , Jacob Lagron of East Peoria, one daughter, Jennifer Lagron of Metamora, one step-daughter, Caitlin Vari of Bellemont, AZ, one sister, Debbie (David Kested)Lagron of Chiefland , Florida and one brother, Brian (Linda) Lagron of Metamora, IL. Alan Graduated from Illinois Central College. He also attended business classes at Midstate College and engineering classes at Bradley University. He worked for Hallmark Metamora Fixture Operations in Metamora as an engineer for 25 years. He later worked for Roecker Cabinets in Peoria Heights. He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in East Peoria and also Peace Lutheran Church in Flagstaff, AZ. Alan always put others first. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for others, especially his wife and children. He had a strong faith in the Lord. There will be a funeral service for Alan at 10 AM Tuesday March 27, 2012 at St. Peters Lutheran Church. Pastor Kurt Mews will officiate. There will be a visitation from 5-7 PM Monday March 26, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
