Ada Mondell Becker, 89, of Washington, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka. Ada was born on June 8, 1937, in New Madrid, MO; the daughter of the late Jasper and Laura (Lindsey) Clark. Ada married Carl Dean Becker on January 18, 1957 in New Madrid, MO; they shared 47 years of marriage until he preceded her in death on October 7, 2004.

Ada worked as a housekeeper at AC Timber Ridge/Life Points as well as cleaned at other buildings in the Morton area. She enjoyed reading historical romance novels, tending her garden, but most of all spending time with her family; whether that was dining out, going for a car ride, or celebrating her favorite holiday Christmas.

Ada is survived by her children: Vicky (Troy Gilmore) Becker of Eureka, Steven (Melinda) Becker of Round Rock, TX, Tim (Lisa) Becker of Washington, and Michelle (Scott Wilson) Becker of Peoria, her sister Shelby Warren of Sikeston, MO, 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband Ada was preceded in death by 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.

The family will receive guests on Monday, July 27 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington from 10 am until the time of the noon funeral service. Ada will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery in Washington following the services.
