Timothy Robert Heller, 52, of Germantown Hills, passed away at 11:53 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his home with his family by his side.
Tim was born on October 23, 1966 in Peoria to Robert and Suellyn Heller. He is survived by his significant other, Julie Dunn; daughters, Kaylin (Trevor) Patton, Madison Heller, Olivia Heller; parents, Robert and Camille Heller; sisters, Kim Kirk, Jennifer (Eric) Heller-Kailey; step-sister, Pam (Ted) Kingham; step-brothers, Greg and Jeff Paulis; niece, Amanda Graves; nephews, Sean Graves, Ben Kirk, Nate Kingham, Zane Kingham; and great-nephew, Lucas Graves.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Suellyn Heller; and uncle, Richard Heller.
Tim graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Engineering. After college he went to work for Kress Corporation in Brimfield for 5 years and then went to work for Komatsu for over 21 years, his last position he held at Komatsu was Director of USPC2.
Tim enjoyed watching football and hockey. He also enjoyed fishing with family and close friends. Over the last couple of years, he fished many small lakes in Central Illinois trying to catch “Babs”. Family was the most important thing to Tim and he especially enjoyed spending time with his daughters.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Sunday, January 27th at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may me made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
