Kassie was a lifelong East Peoria resident, she graduated from East Peoria Community High School and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church. Over the years she used her talents in many ways, whether it was working with her “sister”, Linda, at Fast Printing, serving the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, or volunteering to support cancer patients after she was a Lymphoma survivor for more than 30 years.  Kassie’s greatest joy in life came from her family.  She adored her husband, children and grandchildren.  Her sister, Toni, was her best friend and they talked multiple times a day.  She was also dedicated to her large extended family, which included close friends like her Group Dinner Club. She enjoyed many years of friendship with them and organizing their gatherings. Her heart was for others and her motives selfless; everything she did was for the benefit of someone else.
