Name: Robert "Bob" Cramblett Date: February 3rd, 1942 - March 8th, 2010 Obituary: East Peoria- Robert A. “Bob” Cramblett, 68, of East Peoria died at 12:45 pm on Monday, March 8, 2010 at his home. He was born February 3, 1942 in Peoria, Illinois to Paul and Grace Cassidy Cramblett. He married Kathleen R. Wenzel March 13, 1976 in East Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are three sons Jeffrey Cramblett of Novi, Michigan, Donald (Lorna) Cramblett of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Gary (Ericka) Cramblett of Corsegold, California; one sister, Judith Reinmann of East Peoria; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob worked for thirty years at Caterpillar as a materials analyst retiring in 1995. He then worked for five years as a rural mail carrier for the US Post Office in Washington last working in July of 2009. He was a US Navy veteran. He was a member of the Caterpillar golf league and the Post Office bowling league. He enjoyed fishing and travel. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington with visitation two hours prior to the ceremony. The Rev. Dr. Philip Icenogle will officiate. A committal ceremony with military honors presented by the US Navy will be held at the Meadow Valley Center immediately following the funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the services.
