Name: Judah Eliot "Littleman" Kirkham Date: January 23rd, 2009 - February 28th, 2010 Obituary: WASHINGTON-Judah Eliot “Littleman” Kirkham, 13 months, of Washington, IL, died at 7:53 am on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital while waiting for a heart transplant due to complications from dilated cardiomyopathy. He was born on January 23, 2009 in Peoria, IL to Jennifer M. W. and Bryan R. Kirkham, Jr. They survive. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Maya who was his “twin” here on Earth and Kali who was his best friend, both at home; paternal grandparents, Mark and Denise Riggio of Washington; maternal grandparents, Robert and Lynn Whitaker of Metamora; paternal great-grandparents, Ralph and Phyllis Yerby of Metamora, Edward and Carole Kouski of Washington, and Ellis and Sandra Kirkham of Powell, WY; maternal great-grandmother, Pat Christ of Washington; 1 uncle, Matt Kirkham of Metamora; 1 aunt, Julie Beamer of Mantua, NJ; his loving life coordinator, Lisa Grant, and numerous cousins. Judah leaves many girlfriends, too many to mention, that were captured by his beautiful blue eyes and big smile. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bryan Kirkham, Sr. Judah was a beautiful and happy “Littleman” no matter what he went through. He touched many lives in his 13 months on Earth. Judah enjoyed wagon rides with his nurses, bubbles, music, and playing in water. Judah’s last gift to this world was being an organ and tissue donor. A celebration of Judah’s life will be at 11:00 am on Friday, March 5, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church in Morton, IL. Pastor Mike Claver and Pastor Penny Frame will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
