She was born on January 25, 1928 in Bloomington, IL to Chester and Mildred Lott Kinne. She is survived by 1 daughter, 2 sisters, Viola (Walter) Huber of New Castle, CO and Linda Whitehurst of East Peoria, IL, 1 grandson, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death. Ruth worked at the Pantagraph Newspaper in Bloomington, IL many years ago and while living in Colorado, she ran her own jewelry shop. Graveside services will be private at Parkhill Cemetery in Bloomington, IL, and a memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
