MORTON, IL—Ethel M. Fulton, 77, of Morton died at 1:25 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 23, 1932 in Ashland City, TN to Henry and Ollie Mae Crocker Louallen. Surviving are 5 children, Wanda Jean (Daryl) Feldner of El Cajon, CA, Earl Belcher, Ann Cooksey, and Debra (Darrell) Lucas, all of East Peoria, IL and Robert (Joanne) Fulton of Farmer City, IL; 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Patsy Sloan and 1 brother, Wallace Louallen, both of Ashland City, TN. She is preceded in death by 3 children, Judy Hosbrough, Michael Belcher, and Kathy Gilstrap, a brother, Cecil Louallen, and 3 sisters, Wanda Lee Belcher, Christine Belcher, and Judy Evans. Ethel worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a core maker in the foundry at Mapleton, IL and later retired in 1989 as a material handler at the Mossville, IL plant after 26 years of service. She was of the Christian faith, and loved her pets, gardening and Southern-style cooking. There will be a visitation from 2-4 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Free Methodist Church in East Peoria, IL. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria, IL is assisting the family with arrangements. Additional visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Monday, December 21 at Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, TN. A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation in Teasley Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.
