Name: Marilyn Marie Hanson Date: May 16th, 1931 - November 18th, 2009 Obituary: EAST PEORIA—Marilyn Marie Hanson, 78, of Peoria formerly of East Peoria, died at 2:28 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born on May 16, 1931 in Warsaw, IL to Esta and Annabelle Kaler Youngman, she married Willard W. Hanson on December 24, 1949 in East Peoria, IL. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Annabelle Youngman of Peoria; 2 daughters, Patty (Larry) Clemens of Chillicothe and Peggy (Bob) Judkins of Peoria; 1 grandson, Nathan W. (Miranda) Futrell of Tucson, AZ; 2 brothers, Lee (Grace) Youngman of Chillicothe and Gale (Janet) Youngman of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Marilyn worked for Caterpillar Inc. for 31 years before her retirement in December 1983. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 23 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. The Rev. David Spillman will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM on Sunday, November 22 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
