Name: Linda Hubbard Date: March 31st, 1939 - October 27th, 2009 Obituary: Washington- Linda Hubbard, 70, of Washington died at 2:50 PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on March 31, 1939 in Havana, IL to James and Lucille (Shuemaker) Thomas. She married Wayne A. Hubbard in Peoria on April 4, 1964. He survives. Also surviving are 2 sons Jim Lambert and Ron (Terri) Lambert, both of Washington; 2 daughters Kimber (Mike) McQuiston of Washington and Kelly Hubbard of Knightstown, IN; half-sister Rachelle (Mike) Shadley of Peoria; 3 granddaughters Kaley, Emily, Christina; 3 grandsons Justin, Joshua, and Nathan; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother. Linda was a member at Roland Manor Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. She enjoyed gospel music and especially loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Roland Manor Baptist Church in Washington. Pastor Steve Hardin will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the Peoria Cancer Center or to Roland Manor Baptist Church.
