Born on April 9, 1911 in Detroit, MI, to Albert and Anna Nierke Tschoepe, she married Lawrence A. Berres on May 6, 1931 in West Bend, WI. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1987 in Washington. Surviving are 2 daughters Pat DeMoss of Camarillo, CA, and Betty( late Richard) Frost of Washington, IL, 1 son, Paul (Kathryn) Berres of Peoria, IL, 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Charlotte was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Washington. A funeral mass will be at 11 am Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at her church. Father Joseph P. Donton will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
